Smith + Butler, a “rugged-chic” boutique launched by former model and designer Marylynn Piotrowski, opened at 225 Smith Street in Brooklyn’s Cobble Hill shopping corridor.
Zelnik & Company Real Estate arranged the retail lease on behalf of Smith + Buttler. The retailer committed to 1,600 sf of space, with an average asking rent of $85.00psf.
“The Cobble Hill neighborhood was the perfect fit for our client,” said Jason Turner, a director at Zelnik & Company, who also represented the landlord.
“The area has one of the most vibrant shopping corridors in the City with a number of high-end boutiques and trendy restaurants attracting shoppers from every borough.”
Previously home to the restaurant, SUR, the ground floor retail space at 225 Smith Street now houses Smith + Butler’s collection of biker-chic men’s and women’s fashions and accessories.
